We stayed 2 nights at this hotel as it comes together with the ANA holiday package. The Sunroute Higashi Shinjuku hotel is located steps aways from the Higashi Shinjuku station ( NOTE: There is another Sunroute Shinjuku which is nearer to the shinjuku station ). Higashi Shinjuku is a stop away from Shinjuku station around 25-35 minute walk by foot.
This hotel does not allow early check-in. Check in times starts from 3pm while checkout is at 12noon. However if there is room available, you could negotiate to check in early for a nominal fee.
The Higashi Shinjuku is new on the fukutoshin line 1 stop away from Shinjuku station. There is a Lawson just opposite the road ( below Hotel E Higashi Shinjuku ) and Macdonald is located on the opposite of both Sunrounte Higashi and E-Higashi Shinjuku ( if refering at picture 6, Mcdonald is located on the left). There is also a 24 hours shop that lets you order and cook the room.
Hotel room is clean and it provides all the ammenities. The semi double is enough to fit 2 guest with not much space to walk around but just to sleep. Room and Toilet condition is clean when we arrive. I would recomend it as a value for money hotel
